My Work

In my work I investigate different aspects of the landscape. I am interested in the transformation of the landscape by human intervention or natural factors. The smallest intervention changes the appearance of the earth, which has been formed over thousands of years. From the earliest days of their existence, humans altered the surrounding environment to sustain their existence, clearing forests for agriculture, exploiting natural resources for construction and economic needs, and later, with the development of industry, landscapes were altered even more with the development of cities and the construction of infrastructure. More recently, landscapes have been indirectly affected on a large scale by global environmental change. It is these anthropogenic changes that interest me most. My projects can be divided into two groups. In the projects Rise and fall, Borderline, Shine on, I show the changes that come with the landscape or explore a completely untouched environment as a reference. In the projects Pyramids, Flags, and Interventions, I use the landscape as a base and insert an artificial object into it, demonstrating the transition from the natural to the human. As an artist, I use it as a tool to realise my ideas and visions.
